Katherine Bale

Hi! I’m originally from Richmond, Virginia, and I’m currently a senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Math has always been the subject I enjoy and excel at the most. That love for numbers is what drew me to Business Analytics at UT, and why I’m planning on a career centered around math. I’ve also always loved working with kids, I spent five years at a daycare working with children from three months old to eleven years old, and that experience really shaped my passion for helping students learn and grow.

Educational Background:
I will be receiving my B.S. in Supply Chain Management with a concentration in Business Analytics in December 2026 from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My coursework focuses heavily on data, quantitative analysis, and applied math. After I graduate, I am also considering getting my Master’s degree in Accounting due to my strong foundation in math.

Favorite part of tutoring:
My favorite part of tutoring is watching students reach the point where everything finally clicks and they can work through problems on their own. I love breaking concepts down and helping students understand the why behind each step, I’ve found that once they truly understand the reasoning, their confidence grows, and they feel more capable in their schoolwork.

Fun Fact:
I love skiing and have skied in several countries around the world!
