Calling all Summer Sleuths! Bring your math knowledge, a friend or two and your best detective skills! Each week we will practice math by finding clues, solving puzzles and using our problem-solving skills!

What is a Math Escape Room?

  • Our Math Escape Rooms combine MATH & FUN! Math Escape Rooms combine the thrill of problem-solving with essential math skills. Students collaborate to solve math puzzles, decode numbers, & unlock solutions that lead them through the escape room journey.

  • Concepts Covered: These interactive activities reinforce concepts such as logic, geometry, and arithmetic in an exciting context. By integrating a math escape room, we make learning math dynamic and enjoyable, fostering a deeper understanding and enthusiasm!
  • Teamwork Encouraged! Students are encouraged to collaborate and use problem-solving skills to reach a common goal… making them a great way to promote teamwork and logical thinking!

  • June 3: Math Raiders of the Lost Ark: Multiplication/Division
  • June 10: Artemis II – Escape the Dark Side of the Moon: Word Problem Strategies
  • June 17: Bake it ’til You Make It – Escape the Crazy Cook’s Kitchen: Fractions, Ratios & Proportions
  • June 24: Adventure on the High Seas – The Pirate’s Lost Treasure: Real World Geometry

  •  Who: Students in grades rising 2-6. Grouped by grade/ability. Bring a friend or 2!
  • When: Each Wednesday this  June, 10:00am to 12:00pm! That includes June 3, 10, 17, 24 – with each week having different themes and concepts covered!  You can sign up for any individual session or all of the above!
  • Where: Calculating Minds at 121 S David Lane, Knoxville, TN
  • Cost: Each session is $70.00 per student.  Snack included, prizes, and a cool T-Shirt.
