Shalini Shantharaju

Shalini grew up in Knoxville. After taking many electrical engineering & accounting courses in college and working in both fields as a co-op student & intern realized the (only) part she enjoyed was the math involved in both subjects.

Educational Background:
B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Business (University of Tennessee, Knoxville)

Favorite part of tutoring:
Seeing students’ faces light up when they finally understand a new or difficult concept & seeing how their confidence in their math skills can directly impact their self-esteem.

Fun Fact:
I’m a first generation American. Both of my parents were born in Karnataka, India, while I was born in the USA.
