Algebra Math Classroom Connection

The Coronavirus pandemic ended the school year early before many math students fully master the concepts being taught. Unfortunately, it also looks like the virus will disrupt this year’s education as well.
If a student has unfinished learning from previous grade levels, the chance of becoming frustrated is highly likely. Visual and real-world lessons are also not being provided this year to help students understand the difficult concepts in algebra. Virtual learning may not be effective or meet your student’s needs and they may need help closing gaps.
Calculating Minds provides the math help needed to ensure algebra students continue on the right path and maintain a love of math. We provide individualized attention and learning paths paced to your student. We use Singapore math methods to help algebra students master a Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) progression.

- Sort and classify polynomials
- Solve quadratic functions and exponential functions
- Factor with quadratics among other equations

- A solid understanding of the properties of addition and multiplication
- A solid understanding of the properties of addition and multiplication
- Understanding of algebraic terms and vocabulary
- Firm understanding of the multiple representations when finding slope
- Order of operation skills
- Grasp of rational and irrational numbers
Beyond our Math Classroom Connection sessions, we also offer algebra students Singapore math. These sessions enable students to get further ahead and excel beyond their grade level.
